b4ufish

The field guide for tournament directors — before you fish.

Plate I · The proposition

We handle it
before you fish.

Registration, side pots, payments, the day-of weigh-in. b4ufish runs the back office so the angler can show up and just fish. Money goes from the participant’s card straight to your bank. We never hold your funds.

No setup cost · No subscription · 1.5% per entry

Plate III · Before

Registration on autopilot

Set entry, side pots, fee model. Share one link. Anglers pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card and get a real receipt. Money lands in your bank.

Tournament weigh-in: hanging scale with bass in a clear weigh-in bag

Plate IV · Day-of

Officiated weigh-in

Tournament-grade scale. Bagged, bagged-and-released or kept. Submit, confirm, lock. Co-admins, weigh-masters, and scorekeepers each see only what they should. Every state change is audit-logged.

First, second, third place ribbons — hand-drawn

Plate V · After

Recap & payouts

Live leaderboard for spectators. Printable recap. Stripe handles the 1099-K. We just keep a small per-entry fee — you keep everything else.

Plate VII · Saturday weigh-in · club series, north shore

Plate VIII · Why we’ll never hold your money

Funds flow from the angler’s card
to your bank.
We can’t freeze them. We can’t take them.

We use Stripe Connect destination charges. Stripe extracts a small per-entry application fee at the moment of charge, then routes the rest of the money straight to the organizer’s connected bank account. It never lands on a b4ufish balance. That’s a regulatory choice (no money-transmitter license) and an honesty choice (no marketplace ever has cause to hold your event’s payouts hostage).
